This type of gear engages the brush in forward and disengages the brush in reverse which allows the unit to freewheel in reverse. This allows for easy backing into composting areas.

A. The Ohio Steel lawn sweeper can be towed with any front engine lawn and garden tractor, zero turn riding mower or ATV with a rear hitch hole. When opeRATING with a zero turn riding mower make sure to use wide, gentle turns because a quick zero radius turn will damage this lawn sweeper draw bar. When operating with an ATV make sure to operate at a speed equal to a lawn and garden tractor, as this lawn sweeper is not designed to work at high speeds.
